Dona was born to the late Alfred George Raymond and the late Marie O. McAlee on September 14, 1925 in Johnsonburg, PA. She grew up in Lynn, MA.
To know Dona was to love Dona. She always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
After graduating from High School, she worked in Boston for the Public Health Service where she met her future husband. Frank and Dona married in 1954 and raised their five children in Port Jefferson, NY. Dona devoted her time to raising her family while tending to the family excavation business.
She returned to the work force in 1974 as a secretary at the Suffolk County Department of Health in NY. In 1998, Frank and Dona retired to Wilmington, NC where they resided for 15 years until moving to St. George Village in Roswell, GA in 2013.
Dona enjoyed spending time with her family, singing with the Villagers Chorus at St. George Village and playing poker and bridge.
For those of us who knew her well or only met her for a moment, knew her quick wit and endearing spirit!
