Edna was born in Manson, Iowa, the daughter of Chris and Lydia Birky. Edna attended Mennonite College. She married Howard Andersen on March 5, 1954. They were blessed with three children, David, Susan, and She lived at Tapestry Assisted Living. She really enjoyed her friends, activities and her loving caregivers.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband Howard and her son David.
She is survived by her son John Andersen, her daughter, Susan Allen (David); grandson, Ben, and granddaughter, Taylor Hames (Andre); and great granddaughter, Lily Hames.
Edna was a kind and gentle spirit who thought the best of everyone she met. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
