For those of us who knew Ed Stewart, our memory of him will include his quiet strength. He passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully in his sleep, in his home on June 29, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Clio, his two sons, Nicholas and Andrew, and his adoring grandson, Zoren. A humble man, Ed touched a number of people with his wisdom and honesty, and rarely took credit or acknowledgement. He was a loving, dedicated, committed husband and family man with a witty sense of humor. He had great hopes and dreams for his sons, his grandson, and for the young people he met and counseled along the way. Each day was a new one…and he always looked at both sides of any situation.
His family appreciates all of the friendships and moments he shared with family, friends, and colleagues.
A private family memorial will be held at one of Ed’s favorite places in Santa Barbara, CA, at a later date. Please hold his memory in your hearts.
In lieu of flowers, Ed’s desire was to set up a college fund for his grandson, Zoren Stewart. There is no obligation expected. We are happy to have known all of you. For further contact, please correspond to [email protected]
