Mr. J. Frank Barnes, age 86, of Marietta, GA, died on December 3, 2011. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a resident of Jackson, GA from 1965 to 1983 where he served as the President of the C&S Bank of Jackson, before retiring to Atlanta. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances and is survived by his daughter, Anne Barnes Nutt of Roswell, GA; sons, Ken and Linda Barnes of Barboursville, VA, Steve Barnes of Ontario, Canada; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 8 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Roswell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
