

Married and devoted to the late Catherine Feckoury Armstrong. Father to 5 children, Barbara Melton Johnson (Gene Johnson), Edmond E. Armstrong (Patricia Armstrong), Catherine A. Sale, Ken Armstrong, Richard Armstrong. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Armstrong started his career in the printing industry at John Harland in 1933 and finished after 50 years with Williams Printing Co. Retiring at age 71. During his long career he was instrumental in the many awards won by Williams Printing Company for Excellency in Printing and some personal awards along the way. The Printing Association of Georgia Benjamin Franklin “man of the year” award, distinguished service award from the Atlanta Club of printing house craftsmen, Certificate of appreciation for contributions to National Defense from the National committee for employer support of the Guard and Reserve, Honorary Life membership in the Graphic Communications International Union, and Lt. Colonel, aide De Camp, Governor’s staff Georgia Governor Joe Frank Harris. Mr. Armstrong served as treasurer of the Litho Club and President of the Craftman’s Club.
Mr. Armstrong served as treasurer of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church and is a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church.
