Gerard began soaring with the eagles on Monday September 21, 2020. Gerard was born on October 29, 1960 to Henry “Jude” Alsandor and Nathalie Malveaux Alsandor of Lafayette, Louisiana. He was a resident of Georgia for the past 31 years. He was a graduate of Cathedral Carmel High School, class of 1978. He married Trisha Broussard of Abbeville, Louisiana on May 25, 1995 in Sedona Arizona. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Trisha of Roswell, GA., his daughter Jillian Rachel, and his son Cameron Jude, along with his mother Nathalie Malveaux Alsandor of Rayne, LA., his step-mother Donnelle Brasseaux of Tallahassee, FL., his twin brother, Gerald Alsandor of Rayne, LA., his sister Marcia Alsandor of New Orleans, LA., brothers, Gary Alsandor of Youngsville, LA., Creig Alsandor (Karen) of Thomasville, GA, Eric Alsandor of Atlanta GA, and Jude Alsandor Jr., of Tallahassee FL, his father-in law Corwin Broussard (Kim), of Lafayette, LA., his brother-in-law Brady Broussard (Teri) of Lafayette, LA., and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Gerard was preceded in death by his father Henry “Jude” Alsandor, his paternal grandparents, Lillian Durousseau Alsandor and Roy “Snook” Alsandor, his maternal grandparents Richard J. Malveaux and Consuella Alexis Malveaux, and his mother-in-law Audrey Bergeron Broussard. Gerard loved to play golf, and was an avid wildlife photographer where he was awarded photographer of the month several times. Gerard was employed at Park Landscape Services of Smyrna, Georgia as a VP of Maintenance Operations. His family, relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration of his life will on Saturday October 3, 2020 from 10 o’clock until 1pm, at 730 S. Frontage Rd., Scott, LA., at the C’ast Bon Pavilion (Don’s Specialty Meats) 730 S. Frontage Road, Scott, LA. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic you must wear a face mask and practice social distancing. A private burial will follow.
