

Born on July 17, 1930 in Camden, NJ to the late Ethel Stott McDonough and Harry Thomas McDonough II, Harry served 4 years in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He toured Europe as part of an elite basketball team. He had been a resident of Roswell since 1982. He attended St. Josephs University and graduated from Temple University with a BA in Business Administration. He retired from IBM as finance manager after 32 years in 1989.
He married Patricia McNally on April 28, 1962. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Chris McDonough and Harry Thomas McDonough IV and two daughters, Mary Pat McDonough Jordan and Eileen McDonough, all of Roswell. He was grandfather to Patrick Harry McDonough and Mary Cecilia Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bobby McDonough of Mt. Ephraim, NJ and is survived by brother and sister in law, Jimmy McDonough and Marie McDonough of Medford, NJ and a sister, Mary McDonough Cola and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. McDonough was a lifelong sports fanatic and never missed watching the Atlanta Braves, Notre Dame Football, or any golf tournament involving Tiger Woods. His family and his dogs, Skip, Daisy and Rufus, were devoted to him. His gigantic heart, incomparable sense of humor and love for his family will be missed for an eternity. A Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Harry will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Saint Andrews Catholic Church with Military Honors following the service. Roswell Funeral was entrusted with the final arrangements.
