

She went to Alan C. Pope High School in Cobb County, Georgia and graduated in 1995. She attended College of Charleston where she played collegiate soccer. She transferred to the University of Georgia and graduated with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture in 2001. After working with Design Workshop in Asheville, North Carolina, she attended the University of Bristol in England, where she graduated with a Master’s degree in Landscape Archelogy. From there, Heather went on to work with the United States Army Corp of Engineers for seven years working in Flood Management and Sustainability. She went to work with AECOM overseeing sustainable risk adaption in their New York Metro and northeast region.
Heather loved to travel, fine dining, adventure, athletics, her family and friends, and helping others. Heather truly lived her life to the fullest in her 44 years. She never let one moment or any opportunity pass her by.
A favorite quote of hers is by Ralph Waldo Emerson- “To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived- that is to have succeeded.”
Heather is preceded in death by grandparents, Victor and Margaret Rimoldi and grandmother, Julia B. Morgan.
Survivors include father, Edward Morgan and mother, Vicki Morgan; twin brother, Gregg Morgan and brother, Scott Morgan; sister- in- laws, Jennifer and Jo Ellen Morgan; nieces: Julia, Olivia, Kathryn, and Stella; nephew, Luke, and last but not least her beloved dog, Lucio.
Celebration of Life to be held in the spring in Central Park at the bench dedicated to her by her friends.
