Mr. Howard F. Buckley

Mr. Howard F. Buckley, 74, of Roswell, GA, passed away on Dec. 3, 2011. He was the Controller with Amoco Foam Products Company before retirement in 1992. In his younger years he played basketball in college and on championship teams in Chicago. With his young family he enjoyed playing Frisbee, Wiffle ball, and fishing with his children. After moving to Roswell, his interests changed to taking walks, and playing tennis and golf with the family. In his later years, he enjoyed travel, singing with the church choir, and he reconnecting with his early love of jazz music. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Anne (Ciciora) Buckley. Howard is survived by his children, Kristen (David) Wray, Howard L Buckley, Patrick (Nahum Nicholas) Buckley, Timothy (Shelley) Buckley, Jennifer Buckley; grand children, Clara and Daniel Buckley; special friend and companion, Marie Reichert. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M., (rosary at 7:30 P.M) Tues., Dec. 6, 2011 and the Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Wed., Dec. 7, 2011, both at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 3400 Old Alabama Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30022. He will be placed at rest with his wife in a private service at Green Lawn Cemetery. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
