One of Jackie's greatest joys in life was her love for dogs, particularly golden retrievers, whose loyalty and companionship brought her immense happiness throughout the years.
Described as sweet, giving, and caring, Jackie's warm presence and love extended beyond her immediate family to all who knew her. Her devotion to her family was evident in every aspect of her life.
Jackie is survived by her loving children, Steve Ellis and Cindy Stokes (Walt); grandchildren, Chris Ellis (Caroline) and Michael Stokes; and great-granddaughter, Sloane Ellis, with another great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Denise Ellis.
In honoring Jackie's memory, her family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Adopt a Golden Atlanta” https://adoptagoldenatlanta.com/ reflecting her affection for golden retrievers.
