Mr. James McFadden, 78, of Johns Creek, GA passed away on March 22, 2013. He was born in Oak Park, IL. After relocating from Illinois in 1977 he and his partner, Ken Parker, formed their own recruiting firm, Parker, McFadden & Associates serving the heavy industrial manufacturing industry. It remains in business today. He proudly served our country in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper and stenographer for then BG William Westmoreland. He greatly enjoyed a 36 year membership at Rivermont CC in Johns Creek.
He is preceded in death by brother Bill, sister Shirley and daughter Karen.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty; brothers Ed, Pat and Robert. Surviving children are Mike (Laurie) McFadden, Jerry, Edward, Cathy (Kenny) Chapman and Laurie (Steve) Newsome. He dearly loved his 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, March 25 at the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell GA. A mass will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, March 26 at St Brigid Catholic Church, 3400 Old Alabama Rd, Alpharetta GA.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, Mansell Campus, Alpharetta.
