I was only blessed to meet Jeff twice in my lifetime but you never forget a sense of humor as great as his. Yall made me feel welcome in yalls home when I came with Rachel to Georgia that one spring break. Each and every one of you will forever hold a spot in my heart. I wish I could have seen you again Jeff you were an amazing person. I think about you and the rest of your family daily. Rest easy sweet boy.

Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we love.  Where there is deep grief, there is great love.  Yvonne, Jack and Sarah:  we love you guys deeper than words can express and hurt deeply with you in your loss.  Jeffrey is and always will be a treasure to our family! Sloan brought one of the funeral programs home for me.  I was so pleased to have it since I was not at the funeral.  I wish I had gotten to hear Sarah's remarks because I am sure they were thoughtfully prepared and meaningful.  I was so moved by the lyrics of the song Jeff wrote. Through this tragic loss, you can be ministered to by the Holy Spirit perhaps in a way you never have, nor will ever be again.  That is my prayer for all of you. I am here when and if any of you need me.

I remember Jeff from elementary school. He was exceptionally kind to me and I looked forward to class knowing I had a friend to talk to. I will always remember that he befriended me, the shy kid, without judgement or question.

What glory was given to God today -by Sarah and all those who spoke about Jeff. To hear such a truthful and eloquent witness about the character of God when the heart is breaking is something to behold! Rarely have I experienced such blessing and inspiration after the loss of someone so young and so cherished. That can only be attributed to the Holy Spirit of God - and a family's willingness to allow Him to be seen through and in them. Jeff's memory was exceedingly honored today because of the place God was given. Our prayers are relentless for all of you.

Yvonne, Jack and Sarah our hearts ache for you.  There are no words to fill the void but I would like to express our thoughts of Jeff.

For many years Jeff has been such a close "heart felt" friend with our son, Gable thus giving us the opportunity to know him.  A few months ago we hired him to work for our company.  Working with him allowed us to know him on a deeper level.  We appreciated his many great qualities.  He was conscientious, dependable and always willing to work hard.  Always sweet and sincere--simply a joy to be around.

Yvonne, Jack, Sarah---Jeff loved you very much and appreciated the love and support that you gave him.  Having the family together on the trip to LA was a highlight in his life.  Always a smile came on his face when he spoke of it!  Sarah, he was so proud of your career accomplishments as well as you cooking your first Thanksgiving dinner!  We know that you all will treasure the memories of having the family together in LA.

Now a gentle soul has left the earth and we will all miss him until we meet again.
