Kitty Sims Richardson

Mrs. Kitty Sims Richardson, age 77, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Kitty was born on August 12, 1943 in Burlington, Kentucky to William and Beatrice Sims. She graduated from Lloyd High School in Erlanger, Kentucky in 1961.

Kitty met the love of her life, Delton, and they were united in matrimony. The marriage was blessed with two children, Dean and Pam.

Kitty worked in Banking for many years including stints at the Federal Reserve in Cincinnati and Wachovia. After moving to Georgia, she worked for her best friend’s, Nancy Brand, company CK South in the 1980’s through 2000. She was very active in church until the early 2000s.

Kitty lived life to the fullest. She loved to cross stitch and taking care of babies. She absolutely LOVED babies. She enjoyed spending time on her iPad. Kitty had a knack for connecting with people and she touched many lives. She was great mother, grandmother and friend. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Kitty is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Delton Richardson; brothers, Chuck and Bill Sims; parents, William “Art” Sims; mother, Beatrice Sims; and stepmother, Anne Sims.

Kitty is survived by her children, Dean and Pam Richardson, daughter in law, Shanna Richardson, and grandchildren, Alora, Ian and Rhyanon.

The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Roswell Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home.
