Baldwin, Mildred (Billie) Hambrick, age 99, of Roswell, peacefully passed away, May 7, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, 52 years earlier. As the last in the Hambrick family of her generation, she is survived by two nephews, Paul (Ruth) Spruell, and John Willis; and two nieces, Gloria (Garth) Green, and Elizabeth (Max) Hackney; along with numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Her nephew, Lamar (Susan) Baldwin is one of the last Baldwin's in their family.
Billie was a devout Christian woman and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Roswell. She was a homemaker who appreciated all animals, a passionate gardener, and embraced nature to the fullest extent possible.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Roswell Funeral Home on Mansell Road at noon, Dr. Ron Bradley officiating. Visitation will be that morning from 10:00 until 12:00. Interment is at Green Lawn Cemetery.
