Ms. Mildred Harrison

HARRISON, MILDRED BENNETT, age 88, born February 5, 1928, passed away May 31, 2016 after a long and courageous battle. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, always putting others before herself. She had the most wise and loving heart and touched many lives with her presence. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. Mildred especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Louis C. and Argia Bennett and sister, Charlotte Blair. Survived by her brother Clifford and sister-in-law Mary Helen Bennett, sister Aleatha Martin, brother-in-law Ed Blair, sister-in-law Kate Harrison, her loving daughter and son-in-law Debi and Gary Miller, son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Donna Harrison, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Kathy Harrison, son and daughter-in-law Morris and Sonya Harrison, grandchildren, John Miller and wife Julie Miller, Mark Miller and wife Marci Miller, Rachael Harrison, Emma Harrison, Anna Harrison, Austen Harrison and great-grandchildren Savannah Miller, David Miller and Harrison Miller.

There will be a private graveside service for immediate family at Arlington Cemetery followed by a memorial service for family and friends on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Birmingham United Methodist Church, 15770 Birmingham Highway, Milton, Georgia 30004 at 11:00 a.m.. Our family invites you to a nearby reception following this service at Atlanta National Golf Club, 350 Tournament Players Drive, Milton, Georgia 30004.
