Nancy Frances Waring

Nancy was a talented artist who graduated with a Bachelor in Arts from Hofstra University in NY. She had a diverse and successful career, initially in Art Education, then as an entrepreneur owning and operating a Delicatessen and finally managing outbound marketing teams for several technology companies.

In retirement, she stayed busy, volunteering her time and offering compassion to those in need at Northside Hospital. She also played tennis, enjoyed home design, was an amazing cook, and, most of all, she enjoyed being with family and cheering on her kids and grandchildren at their sporting events. She was a proud mother and grandmother who spent most of her days surrounded by her loving family. She had a knack for making every family get together special.

Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerard Waring, and son, Brian S. Waring.

Nancy is survived by her children, Christine Waring (Rolf) Versluis of Milton, GA and Matthew P. Waring (Kristen) of Atlanta, GA, her brother Joe (Elissa) Kaczorowski, and cherished grandchildren, Taylor and Austin Waring, Caroline, Grant, Julia and Lilah Versluis, and Maddux, Reagan, and Mason Waring.

Funeral services will be held on March 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at Roswell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am before the service. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery.
