Phil never hold back to give immediate feedback. People took chances talking to him! Part 2 of Barcelona memory.

This was taken in Barcelona. First international Foxit meeting after pandemic. Phil cared about people (next to figures ;-) and Wim was a crucial part of his team.

Phil, 

I am deeply saddened about your passing. Your contributions to our company were invaluable, and your guidance during our time together was instrumental in our success. You not only excelled in your professional role but also brought joy to our personal interactions, especially during our lively golf discussions.

Your ability to inspire and direct us with clarity and purpose will always be remembered. You have left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds, and your legacy will continue to influence us as we move forward.

Thank you for everything. You will be greatly missed.

Phil was a dear friend. He was a thoughtful and kind person. He always had  a sweet smile. I am so grateful to have known him. May God grant His tender care and exalt his soul and give strength to his family. My deepest condolences to his dear family.

It is with a heavy heart that I shared the new of the passing of Phil , my longtime friend and co-worker to Foxit team. Phil played a pivotal role during his time with us, offering invaluable insights and guidance that helped shaped the direction of our company. He was a trusted advisor, a skilled professional, a mentor, and a person of great integrity. His contributions continue resonate with Foxit and beyond. He will be deeply missed, his smiles, his passion and his kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with Phil's family Jie, Palmer , Jade and his other loved ones.

I’ll always remember when we first met in Brussels in 2015. The vision you shared for growth and the ideas you brought to life left a lasting impression. I knew from that moment that success was inevitable for Foxit.

Good friends are hard to find.
Phil and I shared a birthday 2 days apart from each other.  We always exchanged well wishes on April 28 since our friendship began back in 1994.  Never pass up a chance to stop and see a friend, you never know when you get the last chance to share a meal, hug or a simple handshake.  30+ years, goes by fast.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Phil's passing. While I had the privilege of working with him on the Foxit sales team, I came to greatly admire his stoic strength and remarkable drive. As our leader, he inspired those around him with his passionate dedication to our work and team.

Though our direct interactions may have been limited, Phil's impact as a leader was profound and far-reaching. His steady guidance and unwavering commitment to excellence set a standard that influenced all of us.
