I pray that soon your tears of sorrow will become tears of remembrance.... That your heart will begin to heal itself.....and that you will soon hear the gently whispers of hope and the promise of peace that passes all understanding.

Every Kind Word, Every Card And Every Hug was very much appreciated. Thank you to our family and friends who loved our Mother and Father as much as we did. Those who met my Dad even brief encounters had such kind things to say and were touched by his friendly disposition - from the bank teller, the doctors, the nurses to his neighbors. "In my Father's house there are many mansions" and there is one for Preston and Sarah.  Joined together in the Love of Jesus Christ on earth and joined together in heaven.  How can I explain and share what Preston, means to me.  From the beginning to the end his love, commitment, discipline, kind nature, self-less-ness, permeated all that new him.  His willingness to assist, counsel, help, and encourage came natural to him.  Preston had a lighter side to his personality to those that new him well.  May his daughters find peace and remember how much their father loved them. And now unto those that loves the Lord and He will keep us from falling, until we see each other again in a new body that will bring us peace.  Amen

I have so many fond memories of visiting with my Uncle Preston and my Aunt Sarah that I can not pick one.  I loved them both  like they were my own parents.  Christmas, Thanksgiving, high school and college graduations ,marriages, and birth of great nieces and nephews.  Even attending church service on visits to Dayton.  Gosh, I could go on and on...sharing boxes of reese cups and singing Looking through the Window by Michael Jackson on our cross country trip to California.  I am sure Uncle got tired of hearing that !  LOL  I am so sad he is not physically here for me to call and say " hi", and hear his delightful smile on the other end but he gave me memories forever I will cherish. Love you Uncle.

I thank God for allowing me to have such a great uncle, you will be missed.
