She obtained a bachelor’s degree from Temple University. In Pennsylvania, Rhoda enjoyed a career as a teacher. She then worked for the IRS where she retired as a Tax Payer Advocate. In her spare time, she enjoyed walking and reading, sometimes walking and reading at the same time. She was a loving mother and adored her grandchildren. Rhoda was affectionately known as Bubbie.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Max Finkelstein (Natalie), Larry Finkelstein (Heather) and Ben Finkelstein (Jill); grandchildren, Brittany, Kyra and Lindsay; and sister, Miriam Schwartz.
