Richard Horton Babcock, 77, of Roswell, GA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family,
on April 25, of complications of stroke and cancer. Dick was born Feb. 12, 1939 in Pittsburgh,
PA, to Martin Grover and Jessamine Light Babcock, the younger of two sons. He is survived by
his wife of 49 years, Barbara; three sons, Grover Babcock and spouse Blue Hadaegh, Jim
Babcock and spouse Missy Babcock, and David Babcock and spouse Jill Daugherty; beloved
grandchildren Lily and Evie Babcock; his older brother, Bill Babcock of Upper St. Clair, PA; and
many great friends. Visitation will be held from 68p.
m. on Wednesday, April 27 at Roswell
Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28 at St. Andrew
Catholic Church in Roswell. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul
Society, care of St. Andrew Church, 675 Riverside Rd., Roswell, GA, 30075.
