Rick Blanks, 68, of Roswell, GA, died June 27th. He served many years in the real estate and financial services industries. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn (Linzell); children - Wil and Rachel; sister - Martha Bruce Bardwell, of Houston, TX. He is the son of the late Jack Bruce and Martha Walcott Blanks, of Bastrop, LA. A graduate of LA Tech, Rick served in Vietnam, 1969-70, with the 25th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. Visitation from 6-8 p.m., Wed., June 29, at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA. The Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm, Thurs., June 30, at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2400 Old Alabama Rd., Roswell, GA, 30076. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chattahoochee Nature Center, Annual Fund, 9125 Willeo Rd., Roswell, GA 30075. Arrangements are entrusted to Roswell Funeral Home.
