Mrs. Sousan Maserrat, 53, of Roswell, GA, passed away on September 6th, 2011. She was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to the United States with her family in 1991. At the age of 22 she married the love of her life and they remained very much in love for 31 years. She courageously fought a battle with MS for most of her life and through this battle she never complained or showed fear, and was always the one helping those around her remain strong and have faith. Keeping others confident, happy and healthy is truly what she lived for. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, and wife. Her number one agenda in life was to take care of others and her heart was filled with nothing but love for everyone. She always said, “Forgiveness is the most satisfying feeling in the world.” She enjoyed cooking, filling her home with plants and flowers, entertaining friends and family at her home, taking her dog, Sasha, on long walks, and laughing until she couldn’t catch her breath. She is survived by her loving family which includes her husband of 30 years, Farshad Maserrat; children, Elika and Paul Maserrat; sisters, Sima Hojjaty and Sarah North; brother, Sam Manafi; and mother, Latife Feyzi. She is preceded in death by her father, Yadollah Manafizadeh.
