Mr. Steven "Steve" B. McClellan

Mr. Steven Brinton McClellan, 62, a longtime resident of Roswell entered into God’s care peacefully on Mon. , June 25, 2012. Steven was born in Kingsport, TN on Oct. 2, 1949 to the late George Brinton McClellan and Genevieve Stevens McClellan. He served his country in the US Army where he was honorably discharged in 1976. Steven was an Engineer by trade and owner of Turn-Key consulting firm where he successfully led many projects all across the United States. He was married for 19 years to Mary Ellen McClellan and was a supportive father to her three children. Steven was a family man well known for the kindness he bestowed on others. His greatest joy came from his time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ellen McClellan of Roswell, GA; the beloved father of two daughters and a son; Roxanne (Tim) Swiderek of Alpharetta, GA, Raquel (Rob) Smith of Woodstock, GA, Tommy (Bridget Lombardi) Burke of Atlanta, GA. He was a beloved grandfather (E Pa )of Gareth, Gavin and Caroline Smith and Gabby Lombardi; and brother, Michael (Vicki Dean) McClellan of Bluffton, SC. A gathering of friends will be will be held on Sat., June 30, 2012 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:30 p.m. both at the Roswell Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Philpot officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Steve to the McClellan/Kahler Cancer Fund, 1116 Vinings Grove Way, Smyrna, GA 30082. This fund has been established to defray treatment costs of nephew Bill who was recently diagnosed with leukemia and Lymphoma.
