Thomas George Walsh

"On the afternoon of February 28th, 2012 Thomas George Walsh joined his loving and faithful wife of 34 years, Carol Wilson Walsh, in Heaven. He was met at the Gates of St. Peter by the woman he loved, and their beautiful little girl, Jennifer Gwen; who has patiently waited many years for her parents to come home. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, his military service and career with AT&T eventually brought him to White Plains, New York, where he met an amazingly wonderful and gorgeous young woman from Cambuslang, Scotland. They were joined in matrimony on September 30th of 1977. Carol Wilson Walsh was an incredible woman in all respects. She was intelligent, kind, gentle, spunky and spry. She had often made comment that the thing she most desired in this life was to be “the best wee mommy in the world”: and, she was. Thomas George Walsh passed away peacefully at North Fulton Hospital from complications of a broken heart, after losing this fantastic woman on November 5th of 2011. They are survived by their children, Irene Gail Spencer Walsh and Thomas George Walsh II. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to The Starlight Foundation, jointly, in the names of Jennifer Gwen Walsh and Mr. T who granted her, and the entire Walsh Family, a most incredible wish at a very dark hour."
