Ginger was born in Nashville, TN on April 28, 1944 to William H. Ferrell and Martha C. Ferrell.
She is a graduate of St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville, TN, and Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, AL. She was a gifted musician of voice and piano. Ginger sang in church choirs, and was a Lead in the Sweet Adelines chorus, Song of Atlanta. She also led many youth quartets and ensembles through church.
Ginger was always the life of the party, and had a big warm, welcoming smile. She had a gift for caring for people, and was a second mom for many of her children’s friends.
Ginger is preceded in death by her parents William Harper Ferrell and Martha Cunningham Ferrell, her husband, Don Richard Hall, and her sisters, Judith Ferrell and Melissa Ferrell.
She is survived by son, Christopher (Allison) Hall, daughter, Alison Hall (Scott) Elliott, and grandchildren,
Nathanael Hall, Erin Elliott, Alexander Hall, and Micah Elliott.
Visitation will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Briarlake Baptist Church (Chapel), 3715 LaVista Road, Decatur, GA 30033. A memorial service will follow at 11am.
