W. Howard Gibson Jr., 79, passed away unexpectedly on August 7. He retired after 35 years with Lockheed Martin Aircraft manufacturing after having served in Korea with the USMC. He was a quiet and gentle man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Rock Spring Cemetery Association, 2709 Eaton Place NE, Chamblee, GA 30341. A reception celebrating his life is planned for Saturday, August 14 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Somerby Retirement Community in Alpharetta.
