William Anderson, or Bill as he was always known, passed away quietly at the age of 88 at his home in Roswell, Georgia. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, three sons, six grandchildren and one great grandson. He was the fourth of five children.
Growing up in a farm family instilled in him a strong work ethic, which was reflected in all aspects of his life. Bill was a devoted husband and father, a man of integrity, loving kindness and Christian faith.
He had a passion for farming, building and repairing things, the outdoors, and instilling this diverse knowledge in his sons. Bill was an excellent host, always conscious of the needs and interests of his guests. He was known for his quiet manner and dry sense of humor.
Ever since seeing planes fly over the fields when he was a boy, Bill loved airplanes, so he became an engineer. He worked in the aviation industry for 56 years and was recognized for his unsurpassed technical contributions and industry leadership.
Bill’s departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever be cherished.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Dementia Spotlight Foundation in memory of Bill Anderson https://dementiaspotlightfoundation.org/
