

William K. Dozier was born in Versailles, KY to Agnes Daugherty Dozier and Samuel P. Dozier Jr. on November 11, 1940 and passed away September 29, 2015, having lived in Roswell, GA for the past 16 years. Known to his many friends as "Bill", he was an avid golfer and member of both the Horseshoe Bend (where he had a "hole-in-one" in 2011) and Rivermont Country Clubs. He enjoyed 45 very successful years working with National accounts as a sales and marketing executive with International Paper Co. and Evergreen Packaging, served with the 100th Division of the U.S Army during the Berlin Crisis of 1961, and most recently was a volunteer at North Fulton Hospital. He attended the University of Kentucky and William Jewel College in Liberty. MO.
Bill lived in many different areas of the U.S. with his wife of 53 years, Charlie Trivette Dozier. He is also survived by his Son, Kevin B. Dozier (Alejandro) of New York, NY and daughter Johanna L. Schrage (Gil) of Louisville Ky. Grandchildren: Nicholas, McKenna, and Lydia Schrage. Sister: Agnes Ann Hackney, Lexington, Ky. He was predeceased by his parents, Agnes and Samuel, brothers, Samuel III and James, and an infant grandson, Zachary William Schrage.
A funeral mass will be said on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, GA. at 10:30 a.m. with a celebration of life honoring him at Rivermont Golf and Country Club in Johns Creek GA. at 12:00 noon.
