Willie (88) was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Craig, her father and mother and all four of her siblings. She will be greatly missed by her family, including her three daughters, Silvana (David) Wisdom, Robin Craig, Anna (Chris) Allen; her three grandchildren, Paul (Jaclyn) Randall, Tiffany (Daniel) Moore and Madison (Nathan) Eaton; five great grandchildren, Spencer, Savannah, Riggs, Mary, and Robert and one great-great grandchild, Willow.
Willie was born in Glennville, GA, on November 8, 1936, the fourth child of Landis and Lennie Brannen. She was raised on the family farm and instilled with her deep faith and love of Christ at an early age attending Love’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.
Willie moved to Savannah, Ga after graduating high school where she attended secretary school, met and married Paul and started her family. She worked in the Commercial Insurance business for over 50 years, retiring in 2009.
Starting in 1982, one-by-one, the entire family moved to the Roswell area where for the next 43 years, Willie enjoyed countless gatherings with her family and circle of wonderful friends. Dearest to her heart was the special one-on-one time she spent with each of her grandchildren, playing her favorite role of all “Mimi”. Our dearest Mimi passed away peacefully on the morning of May 30 surrounded by love.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made honoring Willie to the American Heart Association.
A graveside service for Wilmith will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076.
