Michael A. Ortega

Michael was a loving young man who loved going to Disneyland whenever possible, though his passion was soccer. Michael started playing when he was six years old and just kept getting better at it. He used to say that you needed heart to play soccer.

Real Madrid, FC Barcelona,The Green Bay Packers and the Los Angeles Dodgers were some of Michaels favorite teams, some of his favorite memories were of watching them play with his father Carlos.

Michael was devoted to his faith, he was a member of St. Martha's Catholic Church were he attended school. He was also in a youth group at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Rowland Heights. He was sympathetic and able to empathize with others and he used these qualities to the fullest while practicing his faith.

Michael was a lover of animals and cherished his pets Simba and Spike, his family was rounded out by his sisters puppy Ava.

Michael Ortega passed away on May 4, 2015 while on the soccer field. He is survived by his mother Michelle, his father Carlos, his sister Bella and his brother Aaron. Michael will be laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery on Wednesday May 27th, 2015.
