Rose Martinez Perea

on January 16, 2015 from battling cancer.

Rose was born on October 29, 1933 in Dos Palos, CA. She came from a family of ten

children and enjoyed time with her own siblings. She was also a college graduate

with an associate's degree. Rose then worked at St. Martha's elementary school for

thirty-five years where she was a devoted catholic and taught Catechism.

Rose proceeded to become an Eucharistic minister and was involved in volunteer work

for the church.

Rose is survived by her husband Juan B. Perea and six children:, Lydia Trujillo

(Husband-Ray), Rebecca Gonzales (Husband-Juan), Vivian Farris (Husband-Shawn), Jeanette Perea, Juan B. Perea Jr (Wife-Terri), Bernadette Vasquez (Husband-Eddie). Rose was also blessed with 20 Grandchildren: Benjamin (Melissa), Andrew (Tyra),

Michael, Johnathan, Adam (Nikki), Alexander, Francesca, Melissa (Matthew),

Matthew, James, Thomas, Julia, Christopher, Samantha, Daniel, Allan, Brian,

Brandon, Alex Demecio, Elias and 6 Great Grandchildren including Johnmichael,

Rachel, Danika, Derek, Seliah, and Charlotte.

Rosary will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6 PM to 7 PM at the Queen of

Heaven Cemetery and Mortuary with Father Bill Easterling located at 2161 South

Fullerton Rd in Rowland heights, CA 91748. Private viewing will be held for

immediate family from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and public viewing for family and

friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 8:30 AM at St.

Martha's Church- 444 North Azusa Ave. in Valinda, CA 91744. Burial services will

proceed right after mass at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Following services will be

a reception at the Queen of Heaven Reception Center from 10:30 to 4:00 PM.
