Was called to the house of our Lord on March 9, 2025 at the age of 86. Born in New York City, she resided in Sacramento since 1947.
Loving mother of Cheryl A. Wilson (Debora K. Wilson) and Daniel E. Sawyer of Sacramento CA. Loving grandmother of Michaela A. Wilson and Krissia Emberga of Sacramento CA and Scott E. Sawyer of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Alan E. Mayberry, loving son Michael E. Sawyer, Mother Valerie B. Perl, Father Frank J. Perl and sister Carol D. Cota.
Barbara retired from the Sacramento Army Depot in 1993 after 31 years of Federal service. She also retired from the Elk Grove Unified School District in 2002. And she substituted until 2005.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends celebrating holidays and birthdays. She also enjoyed the companionship and care she received from her caregiver and her friend Cesar. She enjoyed camping, fishing, shopping, music, crafts and the casinos.
