Benito Juan Escobedo III

Bennie had a huge love for God, Jesus and his Family. Words cannot express his great love for these parts of his life.

Bennie attended Murphy High School in Mobile Alabama and was married to the love of his life Alice Mildred (Reed) Escobedo on August 4, 1961. He was proceeded by her in death after being married for 49 years.

Bennie was in the Navy for two years and then worked as an airplane mechanic for Brookley Air Force Base and McClellan Air Force Base for 38 1/2 years.

He had a passion for spending time with his family, writing songs, cooking, Starbucks coffee, Alabama Crimson Tide, Hank Williams, spending time in Carmel, CA and going to the mall.

Bennie is survived by his children Holly Fezler (Steve) and Bengie Escobedo (Wendy), grandchildren; Jeane, Daniel, Ciara, Charlie, Drew, Brittiany, Ben, Jacob and Dylan, his great grandchildren; Emma, Rylie, Piper, Ryann and Rori.

A graveside service for Benito will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Camellia Memorial Lawn, 10221 Jackson Road, Sacramento, CA 95827.
