Carl Leslie Olsen

Our hearts are hurting, my one true love and Lisa's Poppie passed away July 27, 2013. Carl was born on July 7, 1941 in Stockton, CA to George and Betty Olsen. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda, and his dear daughter Lisa, his siblings George (Carole), Carolyn (James), Larry (Beverly), Mary, Aunt Joan, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He moved to Alturas, CA at a young age and had a wonderful childhood. In the mid 1950's Carl and his family moved to Sacramento. Carl attended McClatchy H.S and was a member of the first graduating class at Hiram Johnson in 1959. After graduation he began his 38 year career with Campbell Soup Co. Carl worked in the container department, and held various positions there as well as traveling for the company throughout the US, and Italy. He retired in 1997 as an Area Manager. Carl loved golfing, camping, flea marketing, especially with his friends and family. He LOVED his YANKEE'S, Monday Night Football hamburgers, but his true passion was fishing. Carl loved to fish (camp) at Loon Lake. He had a boat on the Sacramento River for over 25 years at various marinas. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday August 6, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Clarksburg Marina 36339 Riverview Drive, Clarksburg.
