Dorothy Seay

Passed away on March 29. Dorothy was born in Youngstown, Ohio and graduated from Scienceville High School. She moved to Sacramento with her parents, Michael and Mary Tapliski. She met her future husband, Jerry, whom she married in 1949. After retiring from the State of California, Jerry and Dorothy enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and, for 31 years, their annual vacation on Maui. Dorothy was preceded in death by Jerry on March 30, 2010. She is survived by their son, Ric; her cousin, Irene McFall, in Ohio; dear friends Nancy and Marilyn; brothers-in-law Don and Phil; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Heartfelt thanks to the marvelous and supportive staff at Primrose for the exceptional care they provided to Dorothy. Visitation will be held at 4pm on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd., in Sacramento, CA, and Rosary to follow at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be at 11am on Friday, April 5, 2013 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 660 Florin Road, Sacramento, CA, followed by graveside service at St. Mary's Cemetery.
