KLOTZ, Jane Geis Jane Klotz was born on January 16, 1922, in Willows, California, to Duard and Caroline Geis. Jane attended UC Berkeley, UC Davis and the American College of Radiology in Sacramento, and received her certification as an X-Ray Technician. She was employed in this capacity until the birth of her first child in 1945. While at UC Davis she was introduced to the love of her life, Gene L. Klotz, whom she later married. They were married for 58 years and had eight children: Karoline Sheffield, Margaret Klotz, Paul Klotz, Corinne Fearrien, Jane Schene (David), Gene Klotz, Jr. (Laura), John Klotz (Penne). She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Elizabeth Smart (Craig), Caroline Schwall (Bert), Kendall Schene, Michael, Kevin, Shannon and Megan Klotz, and one great-grandchild, Peyton Smart. She is also survived by her sister Carolyn Slater and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gene, and their daughter, Jean Louise. She loved puttering in her garden, harvesting and canning her tomatoes, pruning her roses, and fussing over her African Violets. She also loved the companionship of her cat, Amber. She enjoyed playing dominoes, but she was passionate about playing bridge with her very dear friends and her sister. She fearlessly jumped into the world of technology: digital books, iPad, Quickbooks and Windows 8. 1! Jane passed away at her home on Sept. 20, 2014. Interment at Saint Mary's Cemetery.
