Helen Marie Shells

1 Corinthians 13:7.

Helen M. Shells passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 31st, 2025, at the age of 79. Helen was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on April 3, 1943, and is survived by her children, Lorenzo (Faviola) Shells, Lana (Antonio) Nazario, her “grands” Sterling Shells, Monique Shells, Raina (J. Campbell) Nelson, Lorena Shells, Victoria Balvin and her “great-grand” Alina Shells. Helen was the oldest of ten children and is survived by her siblings-Genevia Earley, Olivia Earley, Patricia Earley Valerie Earley, Bernard Earley and Larry Earley. She is lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and the communities of Galt, Lodi, Elk Grove and Stockton, California.

Helen is predeceased in death by her parents, Juanita and Otho Earley, her baby sister Florine Earley, baby brother’s Roy Lee and Otho Lee Earley.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Galt Adventist Church, 619 Myrtle Ave, Galt, California 95632, with Loyd Henderson officiating and refreshments will be served immediately following the service.
