He attended St. Peter’s grade school in Sacramento, CA. John was valedictorian of the class of ’68 at Christian Brothers High School. He attended and graduated from University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA in 1972. He attended University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He received his master’s degree from Sacramento State in American History.
John was employed by the State of California as a Staff Analyst in the Department of Education, Child Nutrition Services for 27 years. He was an avid fan of the 49’ers, Yankees, Giants and Notre Dame. John enjoyed going to the monthly luncheons with the C.B. group of ’68.
John is survived by his sister Sharon, cousins in Montana and Washington State and many friends throughout California.
