Joseph Pettinato

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad and Grandpa, Joe Pettinato. Born July 21, 1927 to Salvatore and Carmella and passing on December 27, 2022 to rejoin the love of his life, his wife of 62 years, Tennye. Dad lived a wonderful and fulfilled life of 95+ years. Coming from nothing he became a successful business owner, faithful friend to many, and a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather. Dad lived and died entirely on his terms. We are fortunate to have many, many fond memories of our time together. We would like to thank the staff at Aegis Assisted Living and First Call Hospice. They took care of Dad with the utmost compassion, kindness and attention. Dad was predeceased by our fabulous Mom and Grandma, Tennye; his parents, Salvatore (Sam) and Carmella; his brother Dominic; and his two sisters, Mary and Rose. Dad is survived by his devoted daughter, Elaine; Ron, who was more of a son than a son-in-law; his pride and joy, granddaughter, Andrea, her loving husband Kent; and his two adorable kitties, brothers Guiseppi and Nicola. Services will be private as per Dad’s wishes. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Dad’s favorite organization, St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital. We will miss you forever.
