Jo was born in Sacramento, CA on February 18, 1929 to Peter and Filomina Plescia. She graduated from Lone Mountain College (USF) in San Francisco and taught elementary school in SF. She enjoyed traveling, art, music, volunteering, family and good friends in SF and Sacramento.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Filomina Plescia, sisters Ann Scheiro, Sarah Arsenio and brother Jack Plescia. She is survived by her nephew John (Chris) Arsenio, great nieces/nephews, Anne Voorhees Stover, Lisa Voorhees, Joshua Arsenio, Nathan Dixon, and Matthew Arsenio.
A viewing will be held from 4-6 on Friday April 12th at Nicoletti Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd. Sacramento. Rosary at 7:00. Funeral Services and Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Sacramento at 11:00 Saturday April 13th followed interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
