Judith Garnet Davis

Visitation will be held at Harry A. Nauman & Son on Wednesday, August 20th from 4-8 p.m. A Rosary will start at 7 p.m.

A funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church – 3159 Land Park Drive, Sacramento, CA on Thursday, August 21st at 11:00 a.m.

Judith was born on April 24, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the eldest daughter to the late Clyde and Doris Nelson. She attended Hayward High School and graduated from Ohlone College in Fremont, CA. She worked at several jobs throughout her life before achieving great success with a personnel agency, Career Network, she established in San Ramon, CA in the early 1980’s. She inspired and supported many women through her career seminars and a local television program she hosted called Bay Talk.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde & Doris Nelson and her grandson, Michael Lyttle.

She is survived by her children - David Shorum, Greg Bisi (Laurie), Lisa Moran (Rich), Darlene Lyttle, Dawn Nevearez, and Jacqueline Knight (Dan). Her grandchildren – Danny Lyttle (Taylor), Ashley & James Moran, Mitchell & Morgan Shorum, Elizabeth, Geoffrey, Abigail & Madeline Bisi and Colin & Bryce Knight. Her sisters – Jeannie Shiells (Bob), Joyce Edwards (Bruce) and Jennifer Forman (Steve). She is also survived by her ex-husband Dick Davis as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private family burial will be held on Friday, August 22nd at Holy Sepulchre in Hayward, CA.
