Kelly Gai Wrun Lam

Kelly Gai Wrun Lam was born on May 16, 1975 in Sacramento, CA. He passed away on the morning of January 31, 2022 in Sacramento. He attended both William Land and Garden Valley elementary schools, as well as Rio Tierra Junior High. He graduated Class of 1993 from Grant Union High School and attended Sacramento City College as a Journalism major. He worked for the State of California beginning at the Franchise Tax Board and most recently at the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation. He loved to socialize, long scenic car rides, celebrating and spending time with loved ones, preparing hot pot meals, Michael Jackson, and the San Francisco 49ers. He was very friendly, lovable, one of a kind, and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mom, 2 sisters, 2 brothers-in-law, a niece, a baby nephew, both grandmas, and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad, grandpas, and great grandparents.

Please join the family in celebrating his life and legacy at Harry A. Nauman and Son Funeral Home, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95822 on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment services will take place at East Lawn Memorial Park on Folsom Blvd.
