

Lillian Schatz, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on October 2, 2024. Lillian was born on October 21, 1936 and spent her life bringing love and joy to everyone she met.
Known for her boundless generosity, sharp wit, and a heart that embraced the world, Lillian was a guiding light to her family and a source of unwavering support to her friends. She was fiercely devoted to her children and grandchildren, always offering words of wisdom and an endless supply of affection. Her kindness extended far beyond her family circle, touching the lives of many in her community.
In her younger years, Lillian was an avid bowler, often spending evenings at the lanes perfecting her game. Later in life, she discovered a passion for travel, enjoying many cruises that took her to beautiful destinations. Whether aboard a ship or at a nearby casino, she loved trying her luck at the slot machines, always excited by the thrill of a good win.
She is survived by her son, William Gregory Fowler, and 3 daughters, Angela Baez, Terri Thompson, and Cheryl Fowler Angelone (Sergio Angelone), 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, Richard Zschokke, her life time friend and loving companion who devotedly stayed by her side over the last 19 years of her life, and countless other friends who will forever cherish her memory. Lillian’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and strength, and she leaves behind a world made brighter by her presence.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held December 21, 2024 in The American River Rooms at Rancho Cordova City Hall, 2729 Prospect Park Dr, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm. Please bring your memories to share. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite Charitable Organization, in honor of Lillian’s lifelong commitment to helping others.
