Lynette M. Kilton

Lynette, a native of Sacramento, was born on April 25, 1956 and passed away on April 24, 2011 at the age of 54. She is survived by her husband, James; her two beloved sons, James Michael and Jonathan Kilton; her father and mother Vic and Norma Cappello; her brother Mark Cappello (Susan) and sister Lori Dangberg (John); her nephews Justin, Carson, Grant, and Garrett, and numerous cousins. She was the granddaughter of the late Victor and Esther Cappello and Ernest and Linda Mazzier. Lynette had a deep passion for music and teaching and shared her love of the arts with countless students, both young and old. Her love also extended to the pets she rescued and the fresh flowers that filled her home. She attended St. Anne's Elementary School, Bishop Manogue High School, Sacramento State University, and pursued her masters degree in music at the University of North Texas, Denton. Her fondest memories were those spent on an annual vacation in Santa Cruz with her family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 10am on May 28, 2011.
