Marsha grew up in the Bay Area where she attended Clawson Elementary School, Herbert Hoover Junior High School and Oakland Technical High School. Upon graduation from high school Marsha also attended Laney Community College in Oakland. She was the proud mother and provider of three beautiful children, sons Marques Bee Davison and Marcelles Jason Cain, and daughter Marlana Leyanna Nicole Cain.
Marsha worked as a bartender in many of Oakland’s premiere establishments before moving to Sacramento and raising her family. She was a gracious host who loved to cook. As a compassionate matriarch she will always be remembered for how she loved to entertain family and friends in her home and bask in the joyous spirit of family. Ms. Cain was also an avid and skillful pool player and won tournaments around the Bay Area. Her many trophies attesting to her skill level adorn the living room of her home. In addition to cooking, she enjoyed gardening, collecting unique salt and pepper shakers and other antiques, volunteering at her grandchildren’s schools as well as doing community service work with Kaiser Foundation Health Center.
Marsha Marie Cain is survived by her sons Marques Davison, daughter in-law Jenny Davison, son Marcellus Cain, daughter Marlana Cain, grandchildren Marquee Cain, Marcelles Cain Jr., Kaydence J.
