Mary Shirley Mabra

Mary S. Mabra was born July 3, 1921 in Margot, Pampanga, Philippine Islands, to George Jones and Generosa Malic, and was raised in Tucson, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona where she met her husband Fred J Mabra Sr., with whom she shared 53 years of marriage, settling in Sacramento, in 1980. She spent many years active with the local chapter of the Senior Gleaners, and she was a founding member of Les Femmes de Charity of Springfield, OH. She was a longtime member of Faith Legacy Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by her two sisters, Pearl Gaines and Claire Henderson. She leaves behind her three sons Fred J. Mabra Jr. (Mary A.), Ron L. Mabra (Angie) and Thom C. Mabra (Cathy) as well as her grandchildren Tonya, Adam (Alethea), Justin (Candice), Victoria and Kevin (Nicole) along with her great grandchildren Mikayla, Alyssa, Yesenia, Kaylee and Justin Jr.

Services for Mary will be held at Faith Legacy Church, 3532 Whitney Ave, Sacramento, CA , 95821, in North Highlands on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00. Viewing for family and friends will be one hour before the service (9:00), at the church.
