Born in Sacramento on January 18, 1953, Patty went to heaven on August 8, 2015. Patty was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jack and Marilyn Mitchell. She is survived by her brothers, Michael and Brian and sister-in-law Elizabeth. She will be greatly missed by her niece, Sarah (Dustin) and nephews Steven (Summer) and Brian. She is also survived by 4 grandnieces and Gary Croker, her lifelong friend. Patty attended John Muir Elementary, was a girl scout as a child and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, baseball and writing letters to friends and family. She participated in and won medals in the Special Olympics.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Harry Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at East Lawn on Folsom Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Alta California Regional Center Consumer Assistance Fund http://www.altaregional.org/
