Patricia Louise Smith

A lifelong resident of Sacramento, Patty attended McClatchy High and UC Berkeley. Patty and her first husband Bill Street had four boys, whom they raised in River Park. Patty worked as a hostess at Wulff’s Restaurant, where she met her second husband, Col. Louis Smith. Known for her graciousness, wit, and sense of humor, Patty was loved by all who met her. Patty was an avid bridge player with some of her dearest lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her husband Louis Smith, her sons Bob and Rick, and her brothers Jim (Ruthella) Ball and Bob (Joan) Ball. She leaves her sons Terence (Lori) Street, and Jeffrey (Joyce) Street; daughter-in-law Lynda Street; grandchildren Anna Street, Nicholas (Nancy) Street, Brian (Kaylin) Street, Cara Street, Stephanie (Steven) Cook, Eric Street, Ryan (Jessica) Humerickhouse; and great-grandchildren Donovan and Molly Cook, Elliott and Shaylen Herrback, Colson and Sloane Street, Antonio and Christine Humerickhouse; her step children Randy, Lee, Steven, Suzanne, and Luette and their families; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Services will be held at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd., on Friday, August 26, from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patty’s memory can be made to Cristo Rey High School, 8475 Jackson Road, Sacramento, 95826.
