Ross Kasten, 66, of Sacramento, a retired chief stationary engineer and U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, died Aug. 30 while swimming in Folsom Lake near Mormon Island. He is survived by his wife Angie; his three daughters Karmen, Marikit, and Veronica; his stepmother Georgette; his sisters Beatrix and Joyce; brother Lee; and his three grandchildren. Family & friends are invited to a visitation 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento with services to follow at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 10, with burial to follow at Sacramento National Valley Cemtery, Dixon. No flowers.
