With love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Sondra “Sandi” Clifford, who went home to be with Jesus on February 27, 2025. While we grieve her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, whom she loved and served throughout her life.
Born in 1951, Sandi dedicated about 30 years of her life to her career as a dental hygienist. But her true passions were found in the world of creativity, music, and ministry. She had an incredible talent for sewing and costume design, bringing magic to theater and dance productions including designing clothes for children’s boutiques and costume design for touring Broadway and Music Circus productions. Her love for crafting and creativity extended into her church ministry, where she led children’s choirs, taught Sunday school, performed unforgettable puppet shows, and played a vital role in Vacation Bible School. Singing in church and participating in theater brought her great joy, and she shared that joy with everyone around her.
Above all, Sandi loved her family dearly. She is survived by her children, Angela Suel (Erik), Melissa Verdugo (Brian), and Vanessa Petty (Jarom), her six grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Clifford. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Clifford; mother, Joyce A. Clifford; brother, Michael Clifford, her beloved son, Jonathan Petty; and her stillborn twin daughters. Though we will miss her deeply, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life and look forward to the day we will be reunited with her in Heaven.
A graveside service will be held on March 11, 2025 at 11 AM at Roseville Cemetery (421 Berry St, Roseville, CA 95678). Family and friends are welcome to join us as we honor her life and faith.
Sandi’s vibrant spirit, kindness, and creativity will be deeply missed, but we rejoice knowing she is now singing with the angels and reunited with her children in the presence of Jesus.
